Fellow Rotarians and friends,
I am delighted to welcome you to our District Conference from 27th to 30th April 2023, at ESIBAYENI LODGE, in the Kingdom of ESWATINI.
The theme of our Conference this year is “ IMAGINE THE MAGIC AND CELEBRATE ROTARY”.
The conference will be a time to celebrate what we have accomplished during the year.
The Committee and its indefatigable Chair aim to bring a selection of entertainment, information, and opportunities to the Conference event, plus an opportunity to share ideas with Rotary friends and make new ones, promote fellowship and have fun whilst making that difference.
I, therefore, want to encourage all Rotarians, specifically, new members, to join us at Esibayeni Lodge. It is an opportunity to see the scope of Rotary in our District and to better understand the larger Rotary world. I feel certain you will go away refreshed, rejuvenated, and inspired to make Rotary work through your communities.
We want you to “Imagine what more we can do for the less fortunate and to have fun while serving humanity”.

The D9400 conference makes a splendid return to the Kingdom of Eswatini and is offering a diverse program to cater for the diversity in choices and preferences amongst Rotarians.
Let us take this opportunity to enjoy each other’s company, fellowship and have a great time together doing whatever we do during the conference.
We have to open up to diverse choices and preferences as we strive to attract more diverse and younger Rotarians in our mix. We have listened to feedback from Rotarians hence have tailor made conference program to mixing Rotary Business with fun.
You will experience a focused Rotary business day, Rotary project visit and an experience of Eswatini within your stay in the Kingdom. We have deliberately partnered with Eswatini Tourism Authority who are offering yourselves the best tour experience during your stay.
We have also addressed the Rotaractors conference cost which is normally an inhibitor for most young Rotarians attendance. Young people today enjoy service and want to be active in it. We have done away with the artificial age limit and we are all part of Rotary International.
On behalf of the DISCON 9400 Conference Organizing committee, I would like to invite all Rotarians and friends within our district and beyond to join us on 27th to 30th April 2023 at Esibayeni Lodge to Celebrate the Rotary year 2022 with our District Governor.
